Welcome to The Tickell Arms. I love winter and all its beautiful ingredients we’re getting, some amazing game coming through, superb venison, grouse and partridge are all current highlights. All from our gamekeeper from local estates. Also keep an eye out for amazing sweet pumpkins and fat woodland berries.
We now offer the entire restaurant for large event that can be bespoke to your requirements so if you are planning a birthday, anniversary, corporate entertainment, Christmas parties,
ask a member of staff for details. Also we are taking bookings for Christmas Eve and New Years Eve events.
Our new chef’s table is now available. This is in front of the pass, no menu, you receive
a selection of our very best dishes served to you by myself. Ask for booking details.
I would like to personally invite you to come along to visit our restaurant with daily changing menus, that are competitively priced, be it our exclusive restaurant menu or our lunch menu which starts from as little as £6.95.
Also I would like to introduce our new 2 course Sunday lunch for £20.95, which is extremely good value. I intend to promote a return to the family sitting down together for Sunday lunch
at The Tickell by offering a glass of wine or juice to every family member if you bring this newsletter along.
Our New Years Eve will be spectacular consisting of Grand Cru Champagne on arrival, a delightful soprano from the English National Opera who will entertain throughout the night and finally an incredible eight course tasting menu (£100.00) with the very finest food.
A beautiful voice, beautiful food and wines are sure to see the New Year in with good cheer.
